
Day 1: Wed: MUMBAI depart
Meet and greet at 1530 hrs at VT Railway Station,Fort,Mumbai (now called as Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus) to board the train. Train departs by 430 p.m.
Day 2: Thurs: ELLORA Caves
After breakfast on board, from Aurangabad Station drive to Ellora Caves (22 kms/1 hr one way). Ellora is one of the highly visited World heritage sites of India. It has some of the excellent stonework depicting the legends related to Lord Shiva as well as Brahmanism, Jainism and Buddhism. Lunch in 5 star Hotel Afternoon city tour of Aurangabad,strategically important for Mughal Dynasty to defend attacks from Hindu rulers of South India Return to train for Dinner.
Day 3: Fri: AJANTA Caves
Morning excursion from to Jalgaon railway station (55 kms / 1.5 hrs each way) to UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ajanta caves-located deep within the Sahyadri hills above the Waghora, depict the story of Buddhism that prevailed here during 200 BC to 650 AD.Return to train by 1230 Noon & depart.
Day 4: Sat: UDAIPUR
Set on the shores of Lake Pichola and surrounded by hills, Udaipur grew in complete contrast to the harsh deserts of the rest of Rajasthan. Proceed for Sightseeing Tour of Udaipur,including visit to 17th century built City Palace Complex,with typical Rajput style of architecture,followed by boat ride in Lake Pichola Lunch in one of the Palace Hotels & Train departs in the evening.
Day 5: Sun: RANTHAMBHORE
Morning & Afternoon Safari in the Tiger Reserve.Ranthambore National Park is an outstanding example of Project Tiger's efforts at conservation in the country. Evening High tea in Jungle Lodge.
Day 6: Mon: AGRA
Morning excursion to Ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri,an UNESCO World heritage Site.One of the planned cities of Mughal Dynasty,built in Red Sand stone,the city has to be soon abandoned,due to scarcity of water. Lunch in Agra 5 Star Hotel. Afternoon visit Taj Mahal-one of seven wonders of modern world Return to train after shopping by the evening & train departs.
Day 7: Tue: JAIPUR
Morning excursion to 16th Century built Amber Fort Palace,famous with tourist for it's Elephant Joy rides,up the steep ramparts Lunch in Palace Hotel Afternoon visit 18th Century built City Palace complex,most of which was painted pink in late 19th century After shopping & gala dinner,return to train late evening.
Day 8: DELHI Arrive
Train arrives in Delhi by 6 a.m. Check-out after breakfast by 8 a.m.
